Welcome to Nannies & More! After working as a public health professional in reproductive and mother and childcare in crisis-settings around the world over the last 15 years, I founded this company after having my first baby. When I reflect on my motherhood journey, initially in the US, I feel extremely grateful for my “village,” not just my husband, family and friends but so many others: the night nurse who allowed us to get some sleep and fully appreciate the magic of those early weeks, my doctor who reminded me to look after myself and take my post-delivery pain medications, and the lactation consultant who helped us through the challenging first few weeks of breastfeeding after delivery. When I returned to work after having my daughter, it was critical for me to find the right nanny who was not only highly skilled and experienced but also shared our values.
Reflecting on my experience and that of most of the women and parents I know, my goal is for Nannies & More to be an extension of YOUR “village” but better!
